Youth Group in Uganda undertake Develop Training
3D trainer james Kweyu was in Uganda early 2018 to facilitate the youth training for Youth from different churches. The event that took place at the Shalom Network Ministry for Develop” Module Training.
The youths who had gone through the first model of Discover with 3D trainer Judy Murungi were taken through the 2nd model of Develop in this one week training.
The impact realized through the 3D training for the Presbyterian Youth in Uganda was immediate, progressive and on-going for the participants in that an attitudinal change toward work was experienced.
That is to say; many of them developed their hidden talents in applying the fact of understanding work as God intended it. This will be realized using their talents and abilities, for instance, in Verbal-linguistic, Logical mathematical, Visual/partial, Bodily/ kinesthetic, Musical, Naturalist, Inter-personal and Intra-personal which will lead them into careers based in these intelligences.
During this time, we learnt that God’s intention work toward is not to hate it or avoid it, but work is part of God’s creation. Therefore, there is no way we will develop our talents and abilities unless we work.
Our mindset toward work was also transformed after learning that our talents are work tools in the kingdom of God. Therefore, we are to use our talents in ways that glorify his name.
