Testimonials from the F4 graduates in South Sudan
Abraham Deng attested to the revelations he received from the topics covered under F4. “To know that God owns it all was very liberating. Through the F4 I got eyes to fix the faults in my financial life. I have decided to come of financial challenges and if it is not for the financial freedom for families, I would have been in big financial mess, he says.
When Deng joined the F4 Class, he was a bit undecided but as the training progressed, he started liking the course. “I have made a lot of changes in my expenses at my family level when I realized I was making a lot of mistakes in how I managed God given resources,” adds Deng.
John Marlow on his part says that since 2014 when he heard of the F4, he instantly knew that he had to go through the course when opportunity comes. “I have learnt a lot on financial management and I believe this information will not just help me but generations to come.
I have learnt a lot about loans and debts and I have known how better to free myself from debt,” say Marlow.
“Having gone through the F4 Course, I have learned that this is a lifetime skills imparted unto me and I pledge to live by the principles learnt each day of my life,” says John Marlow who has now become a CMS Timothy Mission Partner
John Awan on his part says he has benefited from the course starting from the records keeping. “As we journeyed through the course, I go to know where my money goes to and I no longer ask the question ‘money where are you?” he adds.
I had never thought of a long term investment in life and through F4 I have now set out a10 year plan that will help be dispense off will all by debts.
When we started, it was hard for me to keep the daily records of my expenses but now I am ardent about this practice. Through F4 have learnt that I am rich. I was awakened to know this though the F4 training.
Michael Aban says he learnt how to keep financial record. “On this one day, I was in class teaching and then I remembered there is something I had not recorded. I stopped what I was writing on the board and went ahead to key in the info,” attests Aban. He adds that one time during his time of translation of the F4 training manual, he came to topic on saving. Aban was greatly moved to realise that I was not saving at all. That was my very first day of thinking about opening a saving account.
“The principle of service and rest was also very awakening. I am among those people who believe that it is sinful not to be engaged in doing anything at any time. But from this study, I have learnt to take a rest and I really thank God,” concludes Aban.
Last but not least, Joseph Noel observed that the training helped him a lot in the area of debt.
Personally I was in a serious mess. “I get my salary but all the time I found myself borrowing. It was until we came to the F4 course and started making that I started making meaning out of all this. But what was important was the acknowledged of reasons why one enters into debt and correcting it. I have made my repayment sheet and I am steadily but surely following through the plan until I move from debt to saving.”
Joseph has been a direct beneficiary of the record keeping that led to savings here and there in my house. When I shared with wife, she started keeping records and making savings and finally ended up surprising with well knead trousers. When I asked where she got the money to do, it she said, from the little savings here and there that we have gleaned from the record keeping that you learnt in F4.
